Mystery Corrimal winner claims $1.17 Million prize

Monday 20 February - It took one week for a Corrimal Lotto player to find out he was one of the 17 winners in Saturday Lotto’s $20 million Superdraw, drawn on 11 February, but that has in no way lessened his excitement at winning $1,176,482.24.

As the winner was unregistered, NSW Lotteries officials were unable to contact him to break the good news.

The winner finally presented his winning 36 game Megapick ticket for checking at Corrimal Court Newsagency on Saturday afternoon and realised that he was the mystery Corrimal winner that NSW Lotteries officials had been looking for.

The winner, who wishes to remain anonymous, won his share in the $20 million prize with a 36 game Megapick ticket which cost $23.90 from Corrimal Court Newsagency, Corrimal Court, Princes Highway, Corrimal.

Had the winner registered his winning ticket with a NSW Lotteries Players Club card, NSW Lotteries officials would have been able to contact him after the draw ensuring that he would not have waited one week before finding out about his big win.

Corrimal’s winner was one of 17 national winners who shared the Saturday Lotto $20 million Superdraw division one prize in draw 3189, drawn on Saturday 11 February.
