Manly can reinforce Australia’s dominance on the international Rugby League stage with a victory over Leeds in the World Club Challenge on Saturday morning (AEST). Australian teams have won the last three consecutive annual international showdowns and the Sea Eagles are no strangers of winning in England after beating the Rhinos in the 2009 final by eight points .

Geoff Toovey takes the reins for the first time as Manly Coach and will hope to transfer his sides form in last year’s triumphant NRL campaign to the international arena. The Sea Eagles enter the match with nine players from the 2009 World Club Challenge winning team and also welcome the return of former test winger David ‘Wolfman’ Williams after suffering a serious neck injury.

Leeds will rely heavily on the attacking strength and leadership of Captain Kevin Sinfield who plays his 402nd game. The Rhinos also boast a number of past NRL players who now call England home, including Ex Titans back Brett Delaney and former Kiwi international Brent Webb who are both noted try scorers.
