Ourimbah mum's worries melt away with news of $1.18 Million Lotto win

Wednesday 15 February - An Ourimbah mum of two received life-changing news when a NSW Lotteries official confirmed her $1,180,840.39 win in Saturday Lotto’s $20 million Superdraw.

The registered winner, who both laughed and cried when she heard of her win, admitted that she did not take any notice of a voice mail requesting that she call NSW Lotteries, believing it was a prank call.

“Oh my God, I didn’t take any notice of the message to call you back,” the winner said.

“I am so relived; this takes a lot of pressure of us. This is completely life-changing; I feel as if the weight of the world has just been lifted from my shoulders,” the winner cried.

“We will put our win to good use. We’ll do something to help family and friends and I’m looking forward to buying some things for the house that I have wanted to get for years but couldn’t afford.

“I don’t get to spend money on myself. I only have one good pair of shoes after the dog chewed a few on me. I can’t wait to go shopping and buy new shoes!,’ the winner laughed.

Ourimbah’s stay-at-home mum is one of 17 winners who shared in the $20 million Saturday Lotto Superdraw prize.She won a $1.176.470.59 share of the division one prize pool plus an additional $4,369.80 in divisional prizes.

The lucky millionaire purchased her winning ticket, which cost just $4.80, from Ourimbah Newsagency at 37 Pacific Highway, Ourimbah.

The winner has been playing the same numbers on her systems seven ticket for many years.

“These numbers were picked many years ago and I have been using them ever since.”

Across Australia 17 lucky winners each scored a $1,176,470.59 share of the Saturday Lotto $20 million Superdraw division one prize. Six winning entries were sold in Victoria, four in NSW, three in Western Australia, two in Queensland and one in Tasmania.

The winning numbers for Saturday Lotto draw 3189 were 3, 13, 21, 25, 17 and 35. The supplementary numbers were 4 and 9.
