Bulls Face Tough Task

The Tasmanian Tigers  are in the box seat to claim a place in this year’s Ryobi Cup Final when they face the Queensland Bulls in the final round of matches starting tomorrow. The Tigers have won five of their seven matches and sit in equal first place with the South Australian Redbacks and have all but guaranteed an appearance in this year’s final.

George Bailey’s remarkable summer continued last round with a match winning 94 runs. Bailey was well supported by inform off-spinner Jason Krejza who boasted impressive bowling figures of 6/55.

The Bulls are still a slim chance of making the final however need a miracle win to secure a bonus point and progress on run rate. Nathan Reardon was devastating with the bat in the Bulls loss to Western Australia scoring 116 runs from 113 balls.
