Four Victorians won TattsLotto for Christmas!

Monday 24 December, 2012 - Four Victorian TattsLotto entries won their owners a first division prize of $387,971.00 in Saturday’s draw!

The winning tickets were purchased from Tatts outlets in Burwood East, Doreen, Ocean Grove and Williamstown.

A winning ticket purchased from Ocean Grove Marketplace Lotto in Ocean Grove belongs to a local pensioner couple, who took some time to believe they were indeed big winners.

“I’m sure you’re wrong, this must be one of those hoax calls,” the winning woman said when contacted by Tatts with the news, before she checked the winning numbers herself to confirm the win.

“We’ll be able to pay off our reverse mortgage now, which a lot of pensioners like us have and then we’ll help out our children with some of the money.

“Unfortunately I don’t drink champagne but I’ll have to have a brandy to celebrate!” she added.

The other first division winning entries were purchased from East Burwood Newsagency in Burwood East, Laurimar News & Lotto in Doreen, and Get The News Williamstown in Williamstown.

Throughout Australia, there were 11 winners who claimed a $387,971.00 first division share of the estimated $4 million TattsLotto division one prize pool. There were four winning tickets purchased in Victoria, three in New South Wales, two in Western Australia and one each in South Australia and Queensland.

The winning numbers in TattsLotto draw 3279 on 22 December 2012 were 1, 4, 29, 17, 10 and 45 with the supplementary numbers 5 and 38.

Tatts Public Relations Executive Zoe Knobel said there will be many more happy winners before New Year.

“TattsLotto’s $30 Million Megadraw is just days away on 29 December,” Ms Knobel said.

“Buy an entry today for your chance to share in $30 million, or purchase a ticket as a last minute Christmas gift for friends, family or work colleagues!”
