There’s a mystery Saturday Lotto millionaire in Dee Why!

Tuesday 18 December 2012 - Lotto players who recently purchased tickets in Dee Why are encouraged to check their pockets and purses today for a $1,983,751.55 division one winning Lotto ticket.

As the mystery owner of the ticket did not register the winning Saturday Lotto entry to a Players Club card, NSW Lotteries officials have no way of contacting the lucky winner with news of their new millionaire status.

NSW Lotteries spokesperson Zoe Knobel said that anyone who thinks they may have the winning ticket should contact NSW Lotteries as soon as possible.

“If the winner had registered their ticket to a NSW Lotteries Players Club card we would have been able to phone them with the good news. However in this case the winner may be completely unaware of their newfound fortune,” Ms Knobel said.

“If you have checked your Lotto numbers and think you may be holding the winning ticket, ensure that you keep the ticket safe and contact NSW Lotteries as soon as possible to begin the prize claim process.

The winning ticket was purchased from Grand Plaza Newsagency, Shops 24 and 25 at Dee Why Grand Plaza.

Lotto players are encouraged to always register their lottery purchases to a NSW Lotteries Players Club card. Not only does registration ensure your prizes are secure it also ensures you can be contacted directly with news of a big win.

The winning numbers in Saturday Lotto, draw 3277, on 15 December 2012 were 16, 41, 7, 9, 20 and 5 with the supplementary numbers 6 and 11.

Ms Knobel said there will be many more happy winners before New Year.

“Saturday Lotto’s $30 Million Megadraw is just around the corner on 29 December,” Ms Knobel said.

“Buy an entry today for your chance to share in $30 million, or purchase a ticket as a Christmas gift for friends, family or work colleagues!”
