Another big TattsLotto win for Carrum Downs!

Monday 10 December, 2012 - A retired man from Carrum Downs won a $1.3 million division one TattsLotto prize in Saturday’s draw!

The winner was still coming to terms with the news when he spoke with Tatts this morning.

“I need time to think it over,” he said.

“I haven’t decided what to do with the money yet, but it will make like easier for me and my family.”

The regular player had a message he wanted to share with other TattsLotto players.

“I’ve been playing for around 40 years, and I’ve just won the big prize,” he said.

“So don’t ever think it’ll never happen to you, because I just proved it could. You’ve got to keep dreaming.”

The local man purchased his winning QuickPick entry from Carrum Downs Lotto, just three weeks after the store sold a division one TattsLotto prize worth $324,000 in draw 3269 on 17 November. That prize went to a couple from Frankston who’ll finally be able to afford to buy a home of their own.

Throughout Australia, there were three winners who claimed a $1,338,898.58 first division share of the estimated $4 million TattsLotto division one prize pool on the weekend. Along with the Victorian winning entry, there was one winner in Queensland and another in New South Wales.

The winning TattsLotto entry worth $1.3 million was purchased from Carrum Downs Lotto, Shop 28 in Carrum Downs Shopping Centre.

The winning numbers in TattsLotto draw 3275 on 8 December 2012 were 16, 41, 36, 6, 13 and 33 with the supplementary numbers 4 and 15.

Tatts Public Relations Executive Zoe Knobel said there will be many more happy winners before New Year.

“TattsLotto’s $30 Million Megadraw is just around the corner on 29 December,” Ms Knobel said.

“Buy an entry today for your chance to share in $30 million, or purchase a ticket as a Christmas gift for friends, family or work colleagues!”
