Norwich City will look to keep its three-game winning streak going.
It might sound strange but Norwich City can lay claim to being one of the form teams in the EPL. The Canaries are unbeaten in their past seven matches, and, remarkably, they’ve won three straight at home with 1-0 scorelines over Manchester United, Stoke City and Arsenal. Given those teams are sitting 1st, 7th and 9th on the table, Carrow Road is fast becoming a graveyard for visiting teams.
They probably should have added an away win to their tally midweek as Southampton’s equaliser appeared to have come after a handball. It was just the third goal conceded by Norwich in its seven-game unbeaten run. Whether they can keep that up with Mark Bunn replacing injured England representative John Ruddy in goal is another matter. Not since Chelsea spanked the Canaries 4-1 in early October has a Norwich game finished with over 2.5 goals .
Sunderland finally showed signs of life away from home when it surprised Fulham 3-1 at Craven Cottage a fortnight back. Prior to that, the Black Cats had taken just four points from six away games, made up of four draws and two defeats. Even a visit to Loftus Road and last-placed QPR couldn’t wake Sunderland from its slumber, with fans in danger of going to sleep during a 0-0 stalemate.
