Monday 26 November 2012 - Saturday Lotto players who recently purchased tickets in the Sydney suburb of Parramatta are encouraged to check their pockets and purses today for a $1,044,240.21 division one winning ticket.
As the mystery owner of the ticket did not register the winning Saturday Lotto entry with a Players Club card, NSW Lotteries officials have no way of contacting the lucky winner.
NSW Lotteries Communications Executive, Una O’Neill said that anyone who thinks they may have the winning ticket should contact NSW Lotteries as soon as possible.
“If the winner had registered their ticket to a NSW Lotteries Players Club card we would have called them with the good news, but in this case we can assume that the winner is completely unaware of their new millionaire status,” Ms O’Neill said.
“If you have checked your Saturday Lotto numbers and think you may be holding the winning ticket, ensure that you keep the ticket safe and contact NSW Lotteries as soon as possible to begin the prize claim process.
“This prize will be payable in two weeks, just in time to make it a very merry Christmas for the winner,” Ms O’Neill added.
The winning ticket was purchased from Newsagency on 5 at Westfield Shoppingtown, Parramatta.
Lotto players are encouraged to always register their lottery purchases to a NSW Lotteries Players Club card. Not only does registration ensure your prizes are secure it also ensures you can be contacted directly with news of a big win.
Four winners shared Saturday Lotto’s estimated $4 million division one prize pool. Along with the winning ticket purchased in Parramatta, two winning tickets were purchased in Queensland and one in Victoria.
The winning numbers in Saturday Lotto, draw 3271, were 43, 30, 26, 42, 32 and 17 with the supplementary numbers 12 and 6.
