Mystery Gold Lotto millionaire in Cairns!

Monday 26 November, 2012 - There’s a mystery millionaire in Cairns this morning, as a Saturday Gold Lotto player is yet to claim their $1 million prize from the weekend’s draw!

Golden Casket is waiting for the holder of an unregistered division one winning entry from Saturday’s Gold Lotto draw, purchased from Raintrees Newsagency, to contact Golden Casket to claim their prize.

Golden Casket Public Relations Executive Zoe Knobel said it’s possible the winner is completely unaware of their new millionaire status.

“If you purchased an entry in Saturday Gold Lotto draw 3271 from Raintrees Newsagency, Shop 24 in Raintrees Shopping Centre we urge you to have your ticket checked at a Golden Casket outlet or online as soon as possible,” Ms Knobel said.

“You could be one of Queensland’s newest millionaires, making for your best Christmas yet!

“The entry was not registered to a Winners Circle card, so we have no way of contacting the winner to tell them the amazing news,” Ms Knobel added.

“Registering your Golden Casket lottery purchase to your Winners Circle card not only ensures you will be personally contacted with news of a big win, you also get the peace of mind that comes from knowing you will never miss out on a prize.”

The winning ticket was purchased from Raintrees Newsagency, Shop 24, Raintrees Shopping Centre, 1 Koch Street in Cairns.

Throughout Australia four winners shared in the estimated $4 million division one prize pool in Saturday Gold Lotto draw 3271 and will claim a first division prize of $1,044,240.21 each.

There were two winners in Queensland and one each in Victoria and New South Wales. Along with the Cairns winner, another winning ticket was purchased in North Rockhampton.

The winning numbers in Saturday Gold Lotto draw 3271 were 43, 30, 26, 42, 32 and 17 with the supplementary numbers 12 and 6. There were also 44 division two winners who took home $12,867.40 each.
