Marrickville millionaire unaware of Lotto windfall

Thursday 15 November 2012 - A Marrickville Lotto winner may be completely unaware of their good fortune after scooping a $1 million division one prize in last night’s Wednesday Lotto draw.

NSW Lotteries officials have been trying to contact the winning Players Club member today to no avail.

NSW Lotteries Communications Executive Una O’Neill said that occasionally winners are unaware of a Lotto windfall for a few days following the draw.

“From time to time we have difficulty getting in touch with winners, even those who have registered their winning entry with their Players Club card.

“To ensure that you can receive that winning phone call it is important to keep your Players Club contact details up-to-date and include a home phone number or mobile phone number so that you can be contacted in the event of a big win,” Ms O’Neill said.

“We will continue to track down the Wednesday Lotto $1 million winner who purchased their ticket in Marrickville and hope to give them the good news soon,” Ms O’Neill added.

The $1 million winning Wednesday Lotto ticket was purchased from Cranes Newsagency at 290 Marrickville Road, Marrickville.

The winning numbers in Wednesday Lotto, draw 3191, were 27, 44, 25, 5, 32 and 10 with the supplementary numbers 30 and 31.
