Defending champion Terror To Love  is the horse to beat in Tuesday’s New Zealand Trotting Cup, to be run over 3200m at Addington Raceway. The five year old drew perfectly in gate four and comes in to the race in good form, having won twice and finished second in his other start this campaign. His wins in both the New Brighton Cup and the Ashburton Flying Stakes were very good and he appears to be in the same sort of form that he was in prior to claiming the $600,000 event twelve months ago.

In form Victorian pacer Caribbean Blaster  will fly the flag for Australia and has strong claims after winning four of his past six starts. He is a good beginner and looks to be ideally drawn on the front row. Former favourite Auckland Reactor  is one of five horses in the race trained by Mark Purdon, with his best chance appearing to be Sushi Sushi , who won the Kaikoura Cup in track record time at his last start.
