Friday 5 October 2012 - A Sydney retail worker is recovering from the biggest shock of her life following a phone call from NSW Lotteries officials with news that she has won a $13.3 million share of Powerball’s $40 million division one prize pool.

The Sydney woman said she never thought something like this could happen to her.

“My heart is beating very strongly and I am shaking from head to toe. This is the biggest shock of my life!” the winner exclaimed.

“I don’t know what I’m going to do with all of this money; I never thought something like this could ever happen to me.

“I can’t really think right now but I will use some of my winnings to help my family,” the winner added.

The retailer worker purchased her winning 24 game Mega QuickPick from Chatswood Westfield Newsagency at Chatswood’s Westfield Shopping Centre.

The winning numbers in Powerball’s $40 million jackpot draw 855 were 45, 44, 26, 41 and 20 with the Powerball number 9.
