Benalla ticket scoops $2 million TattsLotto prize!

Tuesday 2 October, 2012 - A retired man has started the week as a multi-millionaire after he claimed a division one prize worth more than $2 million in the weekend’s TattsLotto draw!

The man, who has chosen to remain anonymous, said he was delighted to hear the news and plans to be generous with his TattsLotto windfall.

“We’re so pleased to have won this money, but my wife and I won’t be multi-millionaires for long,” he said.

“We’re looking forward to sharing the money with our children. Family is the most important thing and our children mean the world to us.”

The winning 12-game Regular QuickPick entry was purchased from Rose City Lotto, 49 Bridge Street in Benalla, and the winner has claimed a total prize of $2,080,735.74.

Throughout Australia, there were two winners who shared in TattsLotto’s $4 million guaranteed division one prize pool on the weekend, both in Victoria. Along with the Benalla entry, one of the winning entries was purchased in Roxburgh Park.

The winning numbers in Saturday TattsLotto draw 3255 on 29 September 2012 were 25, 32, 10, 16, 34 and 9 with the supplementary numbers 40 and 44.

Tatts Public Relations Executive Zoe Knobel said there could be more big winners this week, with large jackpots on offer in Oz Lotto and Powerball.

“There’s $15 million on offer in Oz Lotto tonight, and Powerball has jackpotted to $40 million this Thursday!
