The Pittsburgh Steelers will look to extend their winning streak against Cincinnati
It’s not often the ultra-consistent Steelers can be found with a losing record at this point in the season, and at 2-3, Pittsburgh is in this position for the first time since Mike Tomlin took over the head coaching reins at the club. In fact, the Steelers have started 6-2 or better in each of Tomlin’s first five seasons.

The Bengals are 3-3, but their record at home against Pittsburgh is underwhelming. They’ve lost on 10 of the last 11 occasions the Steelers have ventured to Paul Brown Stadium, and overall Cinci has come up short their last four meetings.

The Steelers’ defence remains strong, ranked fifth overall, but they’re getting little out of their running game. Injuries to Rashard Mendenhall (Achilles) and Isaac Redman (ankle) meant they carried just 11 times combined for 20 yards last week against the Titans, while third-stringer Baron Batch finished with a career-high 22 yards from 10 runs.

Andy Dalton and the Bengals have the eighth best pass statistics in the league, and much of that can be put down to wide receiver A.J. Green . He has caught touchdown passes in his last five games, and his 43 receptions is tied for third in the NFL with the Giants’ Victor Cruz.
