Bondi Junction and Cronulla winners share in Saturday Lotto prize

Monday 9 January - Five winners nationally shared Saturday Lotto’s $4 million prize with two NSW winners, from the Sydney suburbs of Bondi Junction and Cronulla, each scoring an $838,482.62 share of the division one prize pool.

As the owner of the winning ticket purchased in Bondi Junction is a registered NSW Lotteries Players Club member, NSW Lotteries officials were able to contact the lucky winner by telephone this morning.

The eastern suburbs man in his sixties said that winning a share in Lotto will change his life.

“This is going to change my life,” the public servant, who wishes to remain anonymous, said.

The winner will share the good news with his wife.

The winning ticket, a 36 game Megapick, was purchased from Bondi Junction Newsagency at 201 Oxford Street, Bondi Junction.

Although the owner of an $838,482.62 winning Saturday Lotto ticket is a registered member of NSW Lotteries Players Club, NSW Lotteries officials have been unable to contact the lucky winner to give them news of their windfall.

The winning ticket was purchased from Cronulla Plaza Newsagency at 21 Cronulla Street, Cronulla.

Five winners natonally shared Saturday Lotto’s $4 million division one prize pool. Along with the two winning tickets purchased in NSW, two winning tickets were purchased in Victoria and one in Western Australia.

The winning numbers from Saturday Lotto, draw 3179, were 29, 33, 30, 44, 45 and 19. The supplementary numbers were 6 and 13.
