Arsenal and Manchester United round out the final Premier League match for the weekend when they clash at the Emirates Stadium early on Monday morning (AEST). The Gunners have had a disappointing start to 2012 losing both of their Premier League matches to Fulham and Swansea respectively, despite being the first team to score on both occasions.
Manchester United recorded a convincing 3-0 win over Bolton at old Trafford last week, however they still sit three points behind arch rivals Manchester City on the competition ladder. Anything less than a win for the Red Devils against Arsenal will significantly reduce their chances of claiming back-to-back title wins.
The two clubs met in round three of the season with united handing the Gunners a humiliating 8-2 thrashing thanks to a hattrick from Wayne Rooney. Rooney has scored six goals in his last six matches against Arsenal.
Arsenal will hope for a strong performance by returning Frenchmen Thierry Henry, who has scored an impressive seven goals in eight home appearances against United.
