After losing two of his three singles rubbers at the Hopman Cup in Perth last week, Lleyton Hewitt will be looking to bounce back when he faces fifth seed Viktor Troicki in the opening round of the ATP event in Sydney on Tuesday. The former world number one was given a wildcard to the event, which he has won on four occasions but received no good fortune when he was drawn to face last year’s runner up in his first match.
2010 winner Marcos Baghdatis also gets his campaign underway when he faces Russian Dmitry Tursunov , while eighth seed Radek Stepanek takes on Belgian Xavier Malisse in the pick of the day's matches.
