FAQ's

Why do I now have to present my Tatts Card to claim a prize?

In a move to provide increased protection over the prizes of Tatts Card members, Tatts has introduced a new security feature, which requires Tatts Card members to present their Tatts Card and ticket to claim a prize in-store. This system enhancement will make playing with a Tatts Card even safer.

What happens if I don’t have my Tatts Card with me but have a prize to claim?

To claim a prize in-store, Tatts Card members need to present their winning ticket and Tatts Card or key tag. If you don’t have your Tatts Card or key tag with you and don’t have time to revisit a Tatts outlet with your card to claim your prize, Tatts will automatically send you a cheque in four weeks. Alternatively you can call Tatts Customer Support on 1300 556 646 to arrange payment in the next weekly cheque print run.

If you have a key tag, Tatts suggest that you attach your key tag to a commonly used set of keys such as your car keys or house keys, to increase the likelihood of you having the tag with you when you need to register an entry or claim a prize.

It’s really important that you keep us up-to-date with your contact details in case we need to send you a prize cheque or contact you regarding a win. You can update your details by calling Tatts Customer Support on 1300 556 646.

What if I lose or damage my Tatts Card?

If you lose or damage your Tatts Card/key tags, please call Tatts Customer Support on 1300 556 646. We will arrange a replacement card for you free of charge.

What if I lose or damage my registered winning ticket?

If you are a Tatts Card member and you lose a ticket registered to your Tatts Card, please call Tatts Customer Support on 1300 556 646. We will be able to put a ‘lock’ on the lost ticket, which will prevent anyone else being able to claim the prize. The Tatts representative you speak with will be able to advise you of your prize claim and payment options.

Do I need to present my Tatts Card to cancel a registered entry?

No. You are still able to cancel a registered entry without your Tatts Card or key tag.

What steps have you taken to inform Tatts Card holders of this change?

An email advising Tatts Card holders of the system enhancement was sent w/c 12 February 2012. The email explained the enhancement and the rationale behind it. A follow-up email was sent post-launch, w/c 12 February, reminding members to take their Tatts Card with them when claiming a prize at an outlet.
