How to use it

Present your Tatts Card whenever you buy a lotto ticket from a Tatts Outlet and instantly find out if you have any unclaimed prizes. And rest assured that if you forget to claim your prize, we’ll automatically send you a prize cheque and you’ll only have to wait four weeks.

Save games for faster play

Enter and record your favourite numbers every week without any hassles, whether you're playing Tattslotto, Powerball, Super 7's Oz Lotto, Monday & Wednesday Lotto, Super 66 or The Pools. Just hand over your card and completed entry coupons for any Tatts game you play on a regular basis and ask your Tatts Retailer to store the entries onto your card – it’s that easy!

You can store up to 50 different entries on your Tatts Card including marked coupons, you can even register QuickPick entries. Plus, you can change your numbers whenever you like!

In-store use

You can always take your Tatts Card to a Tatts Outlet and instantly find out if you have any unclaimed prizes.

Purchasing in-store? Just present your Tatts Card whenever you buy a lotto ticket.

Claiming a prize in store? From 1st March 2012, you'll be required to present your Tatts Card together with your winning ticket when claiming a prize in store.

To record coupons onto your Tatts Card, hand over your card with completed entry coupons and ask Outlet Staff to store the entries onto your card.

Lost ticket security

If you have a Tatts Card and you lose a registered ticket, a security 'stop' can be placed on your ticket, preventing it from being paid to someone else, provided it hasn't already been claimed. Anyone who doesn't have a Tatts Card should be aware that lottery tickets are 'bearer tickets', which means anyone can redeem prize winnings if they present a winning ticket.

Apply today

Just complete an application form and take it to your nearest Tatts Outlet, along with the membership fee of your choice ($7.70 - 1 year, $14.30 - 2 years, $19.80 - 3 years or $25.00 - 5 years). You'll receive a temporary Membership Card that's ready to use and within 21 days your permanent, personalised Tatts Card will arrive in the mail.

$275 Million in lost lotto prizes

Herald Sun - Dec 15, 2007
Annalise Walliker

Tatts Card logoVICTORIANS would be almost $275 million richer if only they hadn't lost their lotto ticket. A staggering $274.6 million in unclaimed Tattslotto, Oz Lotto and Powerball prizes is sitting in State Government coffers.

Some of the winnings go as far back at 1972, when Tattslotto first began.

Among the forgotten loot are 16 unclaimed division one prizes worth a total $10.4 million. The biggest unclaimed prize is a $2 million ticket sold at Cheltenham DFO in February 2005. An April Fool's Day draw could have made someone $227,677 richer, if only they had returned to The Dream Shop in Mordialloc back in 1995.

The oldest unclaimed division-one win was sold at Campbellfield in 1986, while the most recent one was from a Quick Pick entry bought in Yarraville last year and worth $1.4 million. Kilmore Newsagency has the most unlucky winners, with two division one entries totalling $968,000 unclaimed in 1993 and 1996.
