fancy the chance to multiply your prize money if you win?
If you've ever played in a Double or Triple Dividends promotion, you might know the thrill of multiplying your win. Well the good news is that there's an entry type you can play, which gives you the chance to multiply your prize money when you win!
It's called a System entry and it gives you many chances to win by playing up to 20 numbers in a single panel. The real benefit of a System entry, which is something Syndicates have known for a while, is that if you win, you can win more than a standard entry!
The good news is that anyone can play a System entry and take advantage of its multiplying effect on winning. The type of System entries you can play include System, PowerHit and Pick entries.

what is a System entry?
A System entry allows you to choose up to 20 numbers in a single game panel. Playing a System game is like playing in lots of standard games. A standard game panel in TattsLotto is 6 numbers. So when you choose more than 6 numbers in a panel, you get many combinations of 6 numbers which can be made from the numbers you choose. The table below shows you how many equivalent games each system entry gives you.

TattsLotto System 7* - Example
A simple example of the concept of Systems and equivalent games can be shown in the following table. Let's use a TattsLotto System 7 as an example.
If you buy a TattsLotto System 7 entry and choose these seven numbers: 1,2,3,4,5,6,7; you will automatically have all possible game combinations of 6 numbers that these numbers give you. If you wrote out all of these possible combinations for your 7 numbers, it would look like this.

why do you win more with a Systems entry?
Let's use the above example where we played a TattsLotto System 7 and chose the numbers 1 through 7, (the equivalent to 7 games).
So then, if the winning numbers chosen in the draw are;
1, 2, 4, 5, 17, 28 with Supps 7 & 31
Then out of the 7 numbers you chose, you have 5 of the numbers correct, which looks like this:
However, because in this example you are playing a systems entry, the prizes are calculated against all of the equivalent game combinations. And this means that you win multiple times, because you may have multiple combinations of 6 numbers. Your wins look like this:

|

So as you can see, playing a System entry, you have the ability to win multiple times on one entry. Note that whether you win multiple prize divisions, will depend on which and how many winning and Supplementary/Powerball numbers you match.
But the news just gets better, the bigger your System entry.
For example, if you play a System 9 with your syndicate or family, and you get four numbers and 1 Supplementary number, you'll win 10 times the division 4 and 24 times the division 5 dividend.

* Please note: The above example applies to a TattsLotto System 7 entry as indicated. For information on Oz Lotto, Powerball or The Pools System entries, download the 'Let's Play' System Entries Guide (effective 1 March 2013) or ask your local Retailer for more information.
type of System entries
The 'type' of System entry relates to how many numbers are selected in one game panel. So a System 8 means you select 8 numbers, and a System 17 means you select 17 numbers. You can choose from 7 - 20 numbers in one game.
Systems operate differently in Powerball where you can only choose extra numbers in the first game panel. So to play a System 10 in Powerball, you choose 10 numbers in the first panel, and only one number - the Powerball - in the second panel. You can also combine the benefits of a PowerHit Entry to create a PowerHit System Entry and give yourself more chances to win, find out more.
Refer to the Equivalent Games table above to cross-check your Systems entry against the relevant equivalent number of standard games played.
two ways to play a System entry
QuickPick – ask your Tatts retailer for a System QuickPick Entry and the numbers will be randomly generated for you or select this option when you buy online.
Marked Coupon – grab a coupon, cross (x) your favourite numbers in a game panel, then also place a cross (x) in the "SYSTEM/PICK" box in that game panel or select your numbers and this option when you buy online.
For all Lotto games, you can play anything from one Systems game panel on a coupon up to the following:
