how to buy a ticket
buying a ticket online is as easy as 1, 2, 3.
just visit the purchase page to get started, then start clicking.
You'll notice our new purchase page includes information to make it easy to select the right draw like jackpot icons, Draw Values, Draw numbers & Dates and handy guides like "This Thursday and Tonight" to make buying the right entry, even easier.

Select any of our products to buy online including Lotto, Oz Lotto, Powerball, Lotto Strike, Lucky Lotteries or The Pools using the left hand menu.
choosing a draw
Our new purchase page lets you choose multiple draws at a time. When you are making any selections on the purchase page, it's important to note that whatever is coloured orange will be added to your cart. You can select a draw for example, by clicking it which will select it for purchase, then Click it again to de-select it.
There are 2 ways you can choose your games.
- Choose a Quickpick game
- Choose a Mark your Own game
Whatever option you choose, you can review the entry price right below, so you're always sure how much your entry will cost before you add it to your cart.
Another innovative feature on the page will show you how many tickets you have selected to buy and the total cost, before you buy it. This makes it easy to keep track of what you're adding to your cart.
play a Quickpick game
Click on the QuickPick size you want and Add it to your cart. It couldn't be any easier. You can review the Quickpick numbers once they have been added to your cart, but you cannot edit a QuickPick.
mark your own game - choosing numbers
- Select the Mark your own games option
- Choose the number of System Games or Standard games from the pull down menu.
- You can then use the Fast pick option to select your numbers of, Choose the numbers yourself, or do a Combination of both
- Add the entry to the Cart & Checkout
Your Shopping Cart contains all the tickets you have selected to buy and the total cost of these purchases. You are able to view or delete tickets from your Shopping Cart, as well as buy another ticket. You can have a maximum of 20 tickets in your Shopping Cart at any one time.
A Ticket Number is issued by NSW Lotteries to confirm your ticket purchase has been accepted. If your computer crashes in the middle of buying a ticket, you will know if your ticket has been accepted if you are issued with a Ticket Number. Your Ticket Number will be emailed to you, along with your selected numbers. Your ticket has not been lodged until your Ticket Number is issued by us. You can also see your ticket numbers on the 'Ticket History' in the account menu.
