Tuesday 17 July, 2012 - A Goulburn Lotto player is $1 million better off after scooping the entire division one prize pool in Monday's Lotto draw.
Although the lucky $1 million winner is a registered Players Club member, NSW Lotteries officials have been unable to contact the winner by telephone as their registered details are not up-to-date.
Players Club members in the Goulburn area are encouraged to ensure that their contact details, including day-time telephone number, registered with NSW Lotteries are current.
The $1 million winning ticket was sold from First Inland City Newsagency at 140-144 Auburn Street, Goulburn.
Players Club members who purchased their Monday Lotto ticket from First Inland City Newsagency are encouraged to check their numbers and contact NSW Lotteries if they think they maybe the $1 million winner.
NSW Lotteries spokesperson Una O’Neill said that registering lottery purchases to a Players Club card provides many benefits to customers.
“With Players Club membership NSW Lotteries’ customers benefit from knowing that they will never miss out on a prize regardless of the value. Not only that, but registering your details with NSW Lotteries and keeping them up-to-date means that we can contact you in the event you win a division one prize,” Ms O’Neill said.
“If Goulburn’s Monday Lotto winner had kept their details up to date they would already know about their win,” Ms O'Neill added.
The winning numbers in Monday Lotto, draw 3156, were 38, 13, 19, 9, 21 and 4 with the supplementary numbers 2 and 31.
