It’s one of the fiercest rivalries in rugby league and always an exciting encounter when the Bulldogs and Rabbitohs do battle. This occasion should be no different thanks to the impressive start by both clubs to their 2012 campaign. The Rabbitohs are riding a four game winning streak after a convincing win over the Raiders last week and the Bulldgos are also in form after a solid wins against both the Roosters and Sharks.

The Bulldogs boast an impressive record against their old rivals winning 21 of the past 26 games between the two sides. If the Rabbitohs are to turn the tables this week they will have to break a four year drought of winning five consecutive games. Plenty is on the line for both clubs who feature players in the origin arena and cementing a spot in the top four will be the primary objective for clenching a win on Saturday.
