New Zealand trainers hold a strong hand in Saturday’s Queensland Oaks as they look to win the race for the third year in a row after Miss Keepsake won in 2010 and Scarlett Lady took the race for Graeme Rogerson twelve months ago. New Zealand Oaks winner Miss Artistic will be ridden by leading Brisbane jockey Chris Munce, who was aboard the daughter of Darci Brahma when she finished second to Invest in the Doomben Roses last time out.
Quintessential finished powerfully in that race to snatch fourth and has drawn well in barrier one, while the Kiwis also look to have strong chances with Poste Restante and Dowager Queen . Gerald Ryan saddles up Angel Of Mercy and she looks to have claims after winning two of her past three starts.
