Miami Heat and the Boston Celtics do battle in the opening game of the Eastern conference finals in Miami on Tuesday morning (AEST). The Heat, led by superstars LeBron James and Dwayne Wade got past the Indiana Pacers with a 4-2 semi-final series win while the Celtics series against the Philadelphia 76ers went the distance, with Boston eventually getting through 4-3.
The Heat ousted the Celtics in the Eastern conference semi-finals last season before eventually going on to defeat the Chicago Bulls and clinch the Eastern conference. This season however, Boston has won three of the four clashes between the teams. These sides have won four of the past six conference titles between them.
