Tiger Woods begins his 2012 PGA Tour campaign when he tees off in the AT&T event at Pebble Beach this week. The former world number one, who will be taking part in the event for the first time since 2002, will have fond memories of the course having tasted success there in the past. Woods memorably won the 2000 US Open at the venue by an astonishing fifteen strokes.
He is joined in the field by a host of other major winners with Phil Mickelson , Zach Johnson , Padraig Harrington and Trevor Immelman also lining up. 2011 winner D.A Points is back to defend his title, while Aaron Baddeley , Geoff Ogilvy and Rod Pampling flying the flag for Australia.
