If you're a soccer fanatic then The Pools is the product for you. Each week, various European and Australian soccer matches are assigned a number from 1 to 38. The Pools six winning numbers are based on the results of those matches played.

"Drawn" is when both teams score the same number of goals
So to win, all you need to do is select which of the week's matches will end with a drawn result. You can download The Pools Matchlist online at goldencasket.com or pick one up at your local Golden Casket Outlet to see each week's list of matches.

ways to play The Pools
QuickPick Entries are perfect if you are in a rush or playing lotto for the first time because your numbers are generated at random for you. QuickPick Entries are available in the following sizes:
- REGULAR QuickPick - 12 Games
- SUPER QuickPick - 18 Games
- MEGA QuickPick - 24 Games
- JUMBO QuickPick - 36 Games
If you've got numbers that are really special to you they could mean more to you when you play lotto. Just follow these simple steps:
- Grab The Pools coupon at your local Golden Casket Outlet or select your numbers when you buy online
- Mark 6 numbers in each game panel
- Play 2, 4, 6, 8, 10 or 12 game panels
Winners Circle members can store up to 20 sets of favourite games and numbers on their Winners Circle card. Just present your card at your local Golden Casket Outlet and ask to play a Favourite. You can record any marked coupon as a favourite, so you can play your Favourites anytime! Note that online favourites can only be played online, not in a Golden Casket shop.
A System Entry gives you the option to play more numbers per game for a greater chance to win. For example, to win Division 1 in The Pools, you need all six winning numbers. To increase your chances of winning, you could play a System 9 which means you get to choose nine numbers for that game rather than the usual six, giving you 84 equivalent games. Just follow these simple steps:
- Grab The Pools coupon at your local Golden Casket Outlet or select your numbers when you buy The Pools online
- Mark 7 - 20 numbers in each game panel (e.g mark 9 numbers for a System 9 Entry etc)
- Play 1 - 12* game panels
- Mark the "System" check box on your coupon or select this option when you buy The Pools online
* System 7 QuickPick Entries: minimum 2 game panels.
Play a With the Field entry and you can guarantee yourself either one or two of the winning numbers required to win that game. You can play a With the Field entry with your favourite numbers on a marked coupon or as a QuickPick.
For example, if you play a With the Field 4 Entry for The Pools, you are guaranteed two out of the six winning numbers, and you only have to pick the remaining four winning numbers in that game panel.

Going on holidays? Out of town for work? If you're away and don't want to miss getting your entry in, grab a Multi-week entry! It now allows you to play the same numbers in your favourite game for five or ten weeks at a time. Multi-week Entries are not available for Systems 16 to 20.

available up to 10 weeks prior to any lotto draw date so why not buy early to avoid the rush.
